MembershipWhether you are single, a couple, or a group of friends, rest assured you will be in the company of like-minded people in a vibrant environment of learning, sharing and socialising.Meeting place: Barnwell Village Hall. Coffee will be served from 10am. Meetings commence at 10.50am.SOCIETY MEMBERSHIPThe Arts Society Oundle welcomes new members, but unfortunately we do have a Waiting List as the number of people we may have in our lecture venue, Barnwell Village Hall, at any given time is limited by insurance and fire regulations. In recent times, however, most of those joining the waiting list have been offered full membership within one year and being on the waiting list does offer some advantages. Currently we have a scheme whereby Waiting List members may attend up to 5 lectures in any one season at a price of £10 per lecture. All that we ask that they please e-mail or call the Membership Secretary before the lecture if they wish to attend, so we can ensure that there will be a seat available. We also ask that Waiting List members sign the guest book when they register at the meeting and pay the £10 fee. In addition, there are sometimes opportunities to join our organised events or study days if there is space available. If you would like to join the membership waiting list, please download an application form and return to me at the address given. Our programme runs from September to June the following year and I keep in touch with Waiting List members each summer during the renewal process. As membership places become available, they will be offered to our Waiting List members in strict chronological order of their applications. Please also feel free to contact me by e-mail if you have any questions about membership or any other aspect of our society.
